Pearls of Wisdom: Trainer Clyde Mealy



We want to introduce one of wonderful trainers Clyde Mealy who came out this past Monday to help with the Group fitness class. We also asked him to give some tips and advice to our hard working clients.



Some of the tips to take are:
  • Find Support - if not from friends and family you already know, you can find it from other people even new friends that are just as motivated as you to life a healthy lifestyle
  • 1 hour/day - You don't have to workout hours a day. Just set a goal to workout at least 1 hour/day at least 4 times a week
  • Make conscious choices - everything you do has good and bad consequences from the activities you do, to the food you eat. It either moves you closer or farther away from your goals.
  • Do the Mirror test - Look in the mirror and be honest about how you feel about your body. If it brings you negative feelings, don't ignore them. Let it motivate yourself to improve that part of your life.
  • Understand the value of fitness - Successful understand that when you work on your body, it automatically improves the other areas of your life. It gives you more energy, better sleep, and automatic improvement on self confidence.
